CONCEPT

Our mission of Shonan ART BASE is to communicate with the world through art.

The term “base” means a foundation, basis, origin, home, and so on. First, we construct art bases as points in the Shonan area. Second, we connect one of the points to another. This results in a line. Third, we connect the line to another line and further repeat the connection to other lines, thus forming a plane. Repetition of this process produces various planes. We catch expressions created on the various planes and transmit the expressions to the world.
